Legendary pop icon Adam Ant and his band, The Good, The Mad and The Lovely Posse, kicked off The Blueblack Hussar tour, Adam's his first US tour in 17 years, with a sold out show at The Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles.

“I’ve been working for about the last 18 months, putting a band together and recording a new album,” says Ant, 57. “So, you know, it’s time to get back in the spirits, as it were, and get out there and play.”

The Grammy-nominated artist once voted Sexiest Man Alive by MTV viewers played a two-hour set that included crowd favorites such as "Goody Two Shoes", "Stand and Deliver", "Prince Charming" and "Physical (You're So)".

Adam also dug deeply into his nine-album repertoire to play many of his early hits including "Plastic Surgery" and "Dog Eat Dog".

In addition, Adam debuted his new song "Vince Taylor" from his upcoming album, "Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner's Daughter" that's scheduled for release in January, 2013.

The Blueblack Hussar tour continues throughout the US until October 20 and many shows are already sold out. For more information, visit www.Adam-Ant.net.
