Holiday Pampering: Easy! Must Do! Dec 19th 2012, 14:41 I'd like to tell you a little Holiday story… because we happily partnered up with Nivea for this special scrubbing bulleting (wink): Pre – Holiday Season school break, it's like we're getting ready for the Venice carnival in the Frizz household! It's a magical period, every year: rehearsing parts, singing songs – and my favorite activity – putting together the costumes! Because we have this no – buy policy, in the Frizz household – we build each and every one of our kids' costumes from scratches, putting our creativity to test and our imagination to work! And we get by wonderfully. A white sheet here, a window curtain there, Santa's beard made out of cotton, Frosty's had made out of some red plastic kitchen recipient. But we have so much fun! Where am I trying to go with that one? Towards the end of the day, naturally! Imagine: all kids tucked in their beds, dreaming about Santa, about the Christmas paper garlands or yarn Christmas Trees, cookies and decorations they've been making with us all day. And we. Crushed on the sofa after all the Christmas paper garlands, yarn Christmas Trees, cookies and decorations we've been making with the kids all day. ALL. DAY. (almost) Every day. Boy! And you know what brings me to senses after all that madness? A hot shower! And I'm not kidding when I'm saying 'hot'. Scrubbing my cookie smelling skin, the scented shower foam reminding me that the evening is still young and underneath all those layers of Elmer's Glue, butter & flour lies a woman.
