Amber Tamblyn and David Cross Married Oct 7th 2012, 23:45 I was confused by this. Married what? It turns out…each other. Amber Tamblyn and David Cross wed on Saturday evening. Ok, I wasn't completely unaware that this mate-less sock and Joan of Arcadia were that couple you'd never imagine hooking up at a party, but get a bit tipsy, go home together and announce their engagement four months later. I didn't realize it wasn't some daddy issues manifesting and an actual relationship. Cross' rep confirmed that Amber is now Mrs. Tobias Funke to People and Us Weekly. Filmmaker/director Lance Bangs also shared the above photo of the couple dancing with the caption… “Yo La Tengo playing Superchunk, Mission of Burma, and Pixies covers at David and Amber’s wedding.” They did confirm the engagement in August 2011, but again, my little no-heart dismissed it as “that couple.” I am glad they proved me wrong. Good for them!
