Not just child's play: Don't take away recess, docs argue Jan 1st 2013, 05:00 Daily recess, it seems, is going the way of the dinosaurs – but it shouldn't, the nation's pediatricians say. As more and more grade schools drop this time-honored break from their schedules, members of the American Academy of Pediatrics are speaking out in hopes of reversing the trend, pointing to recess's benefits to both learning and health. In a position statement released Monday in the journal Pediatrics, the AAP laid out the scientific evidence showing that kids need daily recess to keep them mentally sharp and physically healthy.

John Norcross, a professor of psychology at the University of Scranton, is one of the world's leading experts on how people change addictive behaviors. Over the last 30 years, he and his colleagues have studied people who successfully quit smoking, cut back or quit heavy drinking, lost weight or started exercising regularly— including those whose lasting change began with a resolution to start on January first. He outlined some of his strategies in his new book, Changeology and discussed how to make resolutions work.

Jenelle Evans Single & Getting Divorced Dec 31st 2012, 23:57 Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans and husband Courtland Rogers have split! After only 26 days of marriage, the young couple has parted ways and is headed towards divorce. The couple apparently had an argument over the weekend which came to a head yesterday, ending in a messy Twitter spat and break up. In the early hours of Sunday morning, Courtland tweeted, "So I just got broke up with because of talkin to my lil girl on the phone last night finally getting to here her tell me she loves dada! Wow." According to reports, the couple got into a fight after Rogers had a conversation with his daughter, Jordan Lewis, who lives with his ex-girlfriend Taylor Lewis. Apparently Jenelle was furious and believed Courtland was more interested in speaking with his ex than with his daughter! Later Jenelle tweeted, "IM SINGLE @courtyb11" Obviously there are other issues that must have attributed to the split, perhaps Jenelle's alleged heroin problem? I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this couple is really done for good!

"He'll do whatever it takes to buy these photos and track down the alleged sex tape." The video was filmed in 1999 and shows a raunchy, drug-fueled sex act. Well it's more of an add on to an older tattoo, but still… The 18-year-old posted a photo of his new ink on Instagram, showing off three roses connected to his original "praying hands" tattoo on his leg. The Biebz posted the image with the caption "Newtat." I honestly cannot keep up with this kid and all his tattoos, I think this is like his 8th or 9th! (It's hard to ignore Vogue Italy's issues, huh?) For 2013′s first issue, called ‘Global Life’, they chose Fei Fei! It sure sounds interesting, can't wait to see more than this flawless preview! Oh – which reminds me – there's this backstage video you can watch after the jump – I was really impressed by the looks of this pictorial and I am, again, thankful to Franca Sozzani for encouraging the right fashion attitude through her Vogue! Now for the technical sheet: Fashion Editor Lori Goldstein worked with the magical Pat McGrath who chose Dolce & Gabbana makeup and Guido who chose Redken hair products. Of course he shared the wonderful news with all of us! All of us who care.. About him. About ink… Some share their baby news, Justin Bieber shares his ink news, to each his own. Now: what's his latest tattoo about? Religion! Yes! Because it's the Season, right? So to mark that down (or for whatever other reason), Justin Bieber's left leg – which also featured a tattoo of Jesus' face – now has a permanent pair of praying hands rising from a bouquet of roses he already had around his ankle. (don’t stop here! There’s more after the jump!) 18 year – old and already covered in bad taste ink. And I'm not just referring to what he's inking on his body – to each his own, like I said! He may have had butterflies or stars – but they all look homemade. There's this dubiously low quality to Bieber's tattoos I don't quite understand. He obviously has the means (he's one of world's highest earning entertainers, like it or not) – he certainly has the time – why doesn't he choose a high end tattoo artist to ink all that mysticism on his skin?
