And still – I believe it will make a great cinematic splash. Baz Luhrmann's movies always do. And the cast he worked with for this new adaptation of the Great Gatsby – Leonardo di Caprio (with whom the director has worked before in Romeo and Juliet) or Carey Mulligan (a longtime Prada fan whose wedding dress was also Prada) have found a perfect fashion match in Miuccia Prada. She designed (more like tweaked her own pre existing designs) Carey Mulligan's 40 dresses from the movie. Also, Tiffany & Co provided the right amount of jewelry Carey's character – Daisy Buchanan needed to to be: '…the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool.' Call me crazy, but I'm convinced that wearing dress can make even Cruella de Vil look like a beautiful little fool!
