Now that Christmas is already behind us and we only have New Year's Eve to look forward to, I'm starting to dream about vivid spring colors, about frilly summer dresses. Which is not all that bad, is it?

But the latest ad campaignsValentino Spring 2013 Ad Campaign and Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 Ad Campaign look inexplicably winter – ish. Take a look below, at the two houses’ ads side by side and judge for yourself! (the story continues right after the jump, click here for the gallery!)

Sarah Moon photographed Valentino's blurry ad campaign (although I think out – of – focus ad campaigns were so last season) with models like Mackenzie Drazan, Tilda Lindstam, Codie Young, Magdalena Jasek, Ester Heesch and Maud Welzen. Only two images were released so far, so I there's no telling if the entire campaign looks so frozen or just these two. With Alberta Ferretti Spring 2013 Ad campaign is easier to judge since more pictures were already made available.

I really like the Alberta Ferretti clothes they chose to promote in this campaign, I can even go beyond their catalog – appeal and concentrate on their fashion essence. Zuzanna Bijoch and Nadja Bender were so styled to match so much that I can't even tell them apart. What triggers your inner summer fashionista when you're looking at campaigns like these ones?
