Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel Join Girl Meets World Pilot Nov 27th 2012, 15:38 Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have officially signed on to play Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence in the upcoming show pilot, Girl Meets World. The show will focus on Cory and Topanga’s teenage daughter, Riley. The story will be told from her point of view, with her father serving as the school’s history teacher. Michael Jacobs, the creator and executive producer of "Boy Meets World," is reportedly leading the new project. Apparently the show is in "the very early stages of development," and a national search is on for the perfect tween actress to play Riley. Confirming the announcement on Twitter Ben Savage said, “I’m going to be a father! Well, on TV at least. The “Boy Meets World” sequel is officially happening!” Boy Meets World fans, rejoice!
