2 Chainz Arrested For Weed (Photo) Feb 15th 2013, 17:26 Grammy-nominated rapper 2 Chainz was arrested on drug charges following a Thursday traffic stop on his way to perform at a homecoming event at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The rapper, real name Tauheed Epps, tweeted about the incident and posted a photo of himself standing with two unidentified state troopers. “Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh,” tweeted the 2 Chainz. “We to jail for a grinder??? REALLY???” According to WBOC, troopers pulled over a white Ford van at the intersection of Route 50 and Rabbit Hill Road at about 10:20 p.m. Seven people were in the car, but only Epps, was arrested. Police told WBOC that Epps, who hails from Georgia, was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. “The photos are being looked into administratively and we’ll see if any violation took place,” said Sgt. Marc Black of the Maryland State Police. Immediately following the incident, 2 Chainz performed at the at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore homecoming concert. “UMES we on the way , dam police f#ckn wit a nigga,” 2 Chainz announced on his way to the venue. “I work hard and pray even harder, we gone always be good ya’ll,” he told his fans. “Not to mention my security said it was his and they said, ‘he don’t smoke,’ how da fuk u know?” Don’t you just love how he talks to students?
