According to reports, Zayn Malik might be ditching the band for a life out of the spotlight! About two weeks ago Malik was at the center of a massive cheating scandal. The teen idol was caught cheating on girlfriend Perrie Edwards when a woman snapped photos of him sleeping after a one night stand! But surprisingly, Zayn's distaste for fame has been around long before his cheating was revealed. "Even before the cheating scandal, Zayn was steering clear of nights out with his band mates and sometimes would skip media events," a source reveals. "He has been quite low at several points when being away for key family celebrations. But his pals have cheered him up." "People forget he is the shyest member. Naturally, he likes the adoration and his day job, but he is battling to cope with the pressure which comes with it." The insider continues, saying, "There is growing concern among the bosses that Zayn is on the brink at the moment…He feels that the last six months have been his toughest in the band yet." Apparently Zayn is becoming more and more unhappy as time goes on and he misses his family. Simon Cowell has given him more vacation time so he doesn't get too homesick, but this doesn't seem to help. Would 1D be the same without Zayn?
