Barbara Walters Has Chicken Pox! Jan 28th 2013, 19:09 Barbara Walters just can't catch a break, but apparently what she can catch is Chicken Pox! Just last week Walters was hospitalized after suffering from a cut on her head after falling at an inauguration party, poor thing. After being taken to the hospital The View co-host somehow caught the childhood ailment and will be kept in professional care until she recovers. It's amazing that she has been able to avoid chicken pox for so long! She freakin' 83-years-old! On The View today Whoopi Goldberg revealed Barbara's current status. "We want to give you an update on Barbara. You all know that she fell and cut her head 10 days ago, and then was running a temperature, but it turns out it is all the result of a delayed childhood. Barbara has the chicken pox," Whoopi told the audience. "She'd never had it as a child. So now she's been told to rest, she's not allowed any visitors. and we're telling you, Barbara, no scratching." Aw poor Barbara, get better!
