Patrick Dempsey Wants To Serve You Some Coffee (Photo) Jan 3rd 2013, 21:36 Patrick Dempsey wants to purchase Tully’s Coffee in Seattle. The competition to buy a small coffee chain is getting heated, with Starbucks and Dempsey among those vying to become its new owners. A bankruptcy auction is being held today for Tully's Coffee, which has 47 company-owned locations in Washington and California. Sharing the news with fans yesterday on Twitter Dempsey captioned, “In Seattle , big day tomorrow! Hope we pull it off!” Tully's filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last October. Dempsey, who gained the nickname "McDreamy" on the TV show "Grey's Anatomy" set in a fictional Seattle hospital, also said last week that he wants to rescue the chain. The deal should be closed by the end of the month.
