Britney Spears Quits X-Factor! Jan 10th 2013, 18:47 Britney Spears has quit the X-Factor. Sources tell TMZ Spears adores working for the show, but that’s not keeping her from leaving to concentrate on her eighth studio album. Britney is working with will.i.am and producer Hit-Boy, who worked on Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Ni***s in Paris. The network and X Factor creator/executive producer/star Simon Cowell are not commenting, but it appears that Spears' team has decided to get ahead of the story and position her exit from the show as "entirely her doing" so she can "focus on her music". Meanwhile, insiders claim that she was simply not going to be asked back as a judge next season.
