Raf Simons First Dior Collection: Christian Dior Spring Summer 2013 Sep 28th 2012, 17:09 It's a spooky serious collection. Raf Simons' first catwalk as the new Dior creative, Christian Dior Spring Summer 2013 was really sober and suited – up. Do they even know it's for summer? I don't think that pops of pink and occasional yellow or cobalt blue will do to save the season's spirit! Some decided – like Gareth Pugh – to go with soft layers. Others – like Raf here – wanted to keep it all work and less play. I think. What do you make of his collection? (oh, and those not – smiling policy on catwalk? Could they change that instead of that size zero thing? Really, if they’d smile, I wouldn’t have to imagine they’re starving and that’s why they’re gloomy and frowning all the time!)
