Elle Fanning's Chanel White Flowery Dress, Weird Shoes, Critics Choice Awards 2013 Jan 11th 2013, 03:41 If someone can pull off a total Chanel look, than that someone is definitely Elle Fanning! I think it's her smile that does the trick, not the clothes she's wearing! Because I'm not a fan of her Chanel gown, as spring – ish and youthful as it would look! Elle chose to wear a dress from Chanel's Spring Summer 2013 collection and she even finished the look with some odd – looking silver metallic Chanel shoes from the same collection (which, I’m certain, they’re going to land her some ‘worst dressed’ titles). However, beyond my discontent, I sure feel happy that someone broke the black – somber look of the night and went for a more surprising sartorial perspective. As for the hair and makeup, Elle went for a natural look with her loose blond hair hanging on her shoulders, natural lips and some red makeup. Judging from her wide smile, I'm guessing she was feeling all peachy. Which is good when you're wearing a dress like that (and those shoes)!
