Wired Exclusive: Nick Cannon Honored At APCH Charity Gala (Photos) Dec 6th 2012, 05:39 Tonight Allie Is Wired attended the APCH Charity Gala at the beautiful Beverly Wilshire hotel! Many celebrities, including honoree Nick Cannon, arrived to the fancy event to raise awareness and funds for the A Place Called Home organization. A Place Called Home is a safe haven in South Central Los Angeles where under served youth are empowered to take ownership of the quality and direction of their lives through programs in education, the arts and well-being. The APCH Gala was held in honor of Nick Cannon, Yvonne Styles and Israel Roberts for their efforts and contribution to the organization. During the event guests enjoyed luxurious food, drinks, musical performances and other entertainment. Besides Nick, lots of other celebrities walked down the red carpet including Keke Palmer, Jason Derulo, and the Grammy award winning producer RedOne! [Click Photos For Large View] RedOne, who has worked with everyone from Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Pitbull among many others, was nice enough to chat and take a photo with Allie Is Wired‘s own Matt Valdez (see above). It’s always fun when the celebrities are actually nice! I know what you are thinking, was Mariah Carey there alongside her man Nick Cannon? Nope, but I’m sure she was busy at home with the kids… or poking needles into her Nicki Minaj voodoo doll. Just kidding MiMi! Anyways it was a great time and we were honored to be in attendance.
