Pacific Rim 2 already in the works with writer Travis Beacham on board Dec 5th 2012, 00:35 PACIFIC RIM is so damn good that it already has a sequel in early development. Crazy, huh? But not unheard of... The film doesn't release until July 12, 2013, but Legendary Pictures have already hired writer Travis Beacham to pen the the sequel.
