Carla Bruni Posing Happily In Vogue Paris December 2012 Dec 1st 2012, 13:26 When I saw the cover, I was – much like many of you – disappointed by the copious amount of retouching applied to Carla Bruni Sarkozy‘s Vogue feature. Carla is undoubtedly a gorgeous woman, her features are still unchanged by the passing of time, ever since her glory, golden supermodels days. Stepping back from the public politic life as her husband is no longer the President of France, Carla Bruni is slowly getting her privacy back. As such, the title of her main Vogue Paris pictorial is more than suitable: The Seven Lives of Carla Bruni. (the story continues right after the jump! Click here for the gallery!) Photographed by Mario Sorrenti mostly in black and white and styled by Emmanuelle Alt herself, the pictorial is just a nice support for a long interview Carla is generously giving to Vogue Paris. My French is rusty, but from what I could understand, Carla is still the same romantic soul that spawned all her beautiful poems and songs. But what I liked the most is her saying that: 'The most difficult part is still ahead: the second part of life. Like Bette Devis said: "Getting old is not for puss!es."' Nope, it's not. But neither is coping with that much Photoshop… Going further, I discovered more goodies that the passionate people from tFS had scanned for our enjoyment. Carla has more than one photo – story in this double issue of Vogue Paris. The cover pictorial, the one signed by Mert and Marcus – also in black and white – is also undeniably pretty, but in a more iconic way. There's this insightful perspective she offers on what and who she finds inspiring but others talk about Carla too, back from when they first met her, in the 90s Fashion golden era.
